 Welcome to ASU's  Indian Student Organization website

The Indian Students Organization at Arkansas State University, Jonesboro is a non profit organization, formed in the fall 2004 to bring Indian students, community and people from Indian Subcontinent living in Jonesboro and near by cities. The main purpose is to provide services and promote leadership opportunities to students, try to keep India and its cultural heritage alive in our hearts far away from home in the United States. We celebrate festivals and organize various events to bring Indian people together and make them feel they are not missing any thing from home. Helping each other in times of need is what brings us together and in strengthening our community. We try to provide help and support to new students coming to ASU from India. One of the objectives of the Indian Students organization is to make Non Indian community aware of the Indian traditions and culture. Ours is an ever expanding community comprising of not only Indian but students of foreign origin as well. We look forward to your participation and valuable suggestions that would help improve our association.

"Our main goal is to keep the Indian culture alive and expand the culture in our area. We are also trying to educate those that do not know about the Indian culture."
