On April 21-23, 2005, Birmingham composer, Dorothy Hindman visited us presenting a lecture on her career as a composer, teaching individual composition lessons, and working with performers on several of her works. We were also glad to hear the ASU Saxophone Quartet perform her work, Drift for the NASA Conference held at ASU on April 23. We can't say enough about Dr. Hindman. A very talented composer, fantastic teacher, and, well... a super nice person! We had a great time having her here and we learned so much about compositional process as well as the business of music.

Thank Dr. Hindman for coming! We hope you come back very soon!
