Violinist, Stephen Sims was here March 12, 2006 for a concert with ASU faculty pianist, Lauren Schack Clark. On the 9th we managed to corner him for a quick class in composing for the violin. Stephen helped us understand problems assocaited in writing for string instruments and even played a couple of our Chapter members compositions. Stephen is a great player and gave a wonderful performance with Dr. Clark in Riceland Hall.
